Be involved witht the Society by helping install the tabletop display for the show. Members blooming species plants will be needed, as well as help setting up the display. Come and have fun making the display!

COS is planning a international trip to Costa Rica in March 2010, which includes the famous San Jose Orchid Show, Premier Party, plus touring nearby orchid nurseries and natural history sites. Leave Miami 3/17/10 and return on 3/21/10.

Angela Mirro studied art at Parsons School of Design. She developed a career as a textile designer, while focusing on botanical watercolor paintings of orchids. Her artwork has been widely exhibited. "The experience of painting orchids is energizing and magical, they almost seem to exert their will. Their resilience and beauty is a testament to life. I paint orchids to connect with that force and to celebrate it."
